You're holding weathered prints from our session, and you can't help but smile ear-to-ear as your grandkids ask who the two smokin' hot babes are in the photo (hint: it's you). Filled with the warmth that only nostalgia can bring, you recollect the moments of pure joy and laughter, adventure and fun, intimacy and love.
I'm super sappy when it comes to old photos. I'll sit for hours with my grandpa looking through every single photo book on the shelf. My all-time favorite is a black and white of him and my grandma on one of their very first dates. He's leaning over my grandma for a kiss as she sunbathes, looking like a total babe in her 1950's one piece! What I would give to have been there to document that whole day as they shared a picnic, ran into the waves, rolled in the sand and walked hand in hand. Ahh, my heart. And now that my sweet grandma is gone, those moments in time are what we hold on to.
